3 Sides to Every Story

It seems to me in any given situation there are at least 3 sides to every story. Hers, his and then the absolute unbiased truth. The truth is more often than not lost due to an emotional response or the need to gain something from someone else. From either of the human parties involved in these circumstances you might get an over exaggerated picture of the truth because the person wants you to validate their view point or need sympathy to soothe the pain they feel. Still others might down play the actual events because they might not want to seem like a horrible person. In any event anything these participants impart to their friends is lacking 2 things every single detail that occurred including things that were said, written or implied by either party and an unemotional response to those events.

I dont give a rats ass how close you think you are to your friend, how much they like you or vice versa or if you THINK they tell you every little detail. Two things are certain, everyone has their secrets no matter how big or small and no one can remember every single detail of an event especially many events and over any given amount of time. The absolute best thing you can do is be supportive of your friends feelings and help them through a difficult time while at the same time not judging the other party because you DO NOT have all the information and it would be impossible for you to get all the details unless you are God!

Should either side of a disagreement come under fire by way of attack it is guaranteed that their friends will indeed stand by, stand up for, support and take sides. If they didnt I would wonder what kind of friends they really were. However, I would hope that the friends on either side who are at least twice removed from the actual events could manage to conduct themselves in a fashion that everyone could be proud of. Remember anger begets anger and that those who lash out are merely suffering and have no understanding of how to resolve their feelings.

A final note : For the sake of clarity I referenced he, she, you and they these are general terms and I am speaking of no one in particular just my friendly objective opinion.
